Below are some suggested driving routes to take in all the attractions listed on our site. 

Drive One

Leaving the Bungalow Farmhouse ,travel on the R693 rd through Urlingford south to Thurles

Now leaving Thurles heading on the R660 for Holy Cross to the famous Abbey

Leaving Holy Cross heading on the R660 towards Cashel to Visit the famous Rock of Cashel

Leaving cashel and heading on the N8 towards

Cahir to visit Cahir castle and the Swiss Cottage

Leaving Cahir on the N76 towards the lovely town of Clonmel and visit this beautiful town with all its various attractions

Leaving Clonmel on the N76 towards Kilkenny city via Callan town to visit Kells Priory

Leaving Kells on the R697 towards Kilkenny city

In Kilkenny city visit all the various attractions and have dinner

Return to “home “ the bungalow farmhouse for a restful night’s sleep

 

Drive Two

Leaving the Bungalow Farmhouse heading on the R693 towards Freshford village

Leaving Freshford on the R694 heading for the Castlecomer to visit the Discovery Park

Leaving Castlecomer towards Kilkenny on the N78 and visit Dunmore caves enroute

Visit Kilkenny City with all its various attractions

Return” home” to the Bungalow Farmhouse for a restfull night sleep

 

Drive Three

Leaving the Bungalow Farmhouse and heading on the R693 toward Kilkenny

Leaving Kilkenny towards Bennetsbridge on the R700 and visit the famous Mosses Pottery

Leaving Bennetsbridge heading for Thomastown to visit Jerpoint Abbey and the famous Mount Juliet estate hotel and golf course

Leaving Thomastown and heading on the N700 for the beautiful Inistiogue village to visit Woodstock estate and gardens

Leaving Inistiogue heading towards New Ross on the R700 to visit the Dunbrody famine ship

Leaving New Ross towards Waterford on the N25 to visit the famous Waterford Crystal visitor centre and Waterford city

Leaving Waterford on the M9 towards Kilkenny and stop for dinner before heading back for a well earned night sleep in the Bungalow Farmhouse
